Registering For Classes, Workshops and Tours

Please pre-register for all classes and workshops prior to their start date (except for music jams) at 262-544-9380 or visit our customer service desk for your reservation. Payment is due at the time of registration.  If you're not able to attend, please provide at least 24 hours notice (48 hours for cooking programs) in order to receive an in-store credit. We reserve the right to cancel any class or workshop due to low enrollment - registrants will be notified and a refund will be issued at the store or by mail.    Location is the Waukesha store's community room unless indicated. 

women’s drum circle – 13 yrs & older

beginning t’ai chi – traditional yang form; 10 weeks

Originally developed as a martial art, T’ai Chi is designed to massage the whole acupuncture energy system of the body.  Its principals promote harmony and balance in your life through slow movements and Qigong breathing techniques.  T’ai Chi is a non-impact, moderate intensity, cardiovascular exercise fostering mind, body and spirit wellness.  It has been known to improve physical balance, reduce falls, lower blood pressure, reduce stress and enhance immune function.

continuing t’ai chi – 10 weeks

It is a continuation of the traditional yang form for students who have already participated in the beginning 10-week class.  Pat will further develop the concepts of this effective mind body practice and help participants with in-depth corrections while introducing the 2-person practice of Tui Shou.

In this interactive class, learn how to make healthy, easy-to-make Ayurvedic stapes of ghee (clarified buter), paneer (fresh milk cheese), yogurt (for digestive spiced drinks) and kitcharee (a healing nutritional one-pot bounty of rice, lentils and vegetables).  Jamie Durner, Ayurvedic and Wellness Practitioner) will supply recipes and a vegetarian meal so come with an appetite.
