While we have the same departments you would find in a conventional grocery store (except for hard liquor, tobacco and lottery tickets), it's our healthy and organic standards and emphasis on local products that set us apart.
All items are screened before they make it onto our shelves. We carry no products containing trans-fats, high-fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, added MSG or products processed with bleach. Discover that food in its purest form is the best tasting and most nutritious available!
All of our grocery products are organic unless otherwise labeled "conventional" and in some cases, "gluten free." No need to worry about ingredients that are known to be harmful to your health, such as hydrogenated oils. We all need fats to survive, but hydrogenated oils can harm you in the long-term and interfere with the body's ability to digest and utilize the good fats.
Gluten Free
Check out our large and ever-growing gluten-free offerings throughout the store. Each gluten free item can be easily identified by an orange sticker right next to each price tag. Ask us about our product lines or suggest something new.
Frozen
We offer a broad selection of frozen vegetables, including the great tasting Sno-pac brand, frozen fresh fruit, breakfast items, ready to bake individual and family dinners, gluten free options, and much more. You'll also find a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and ices made from dairy, rice, soy, and even goat milk. Don't miss our fabulous organic frozen pizzas, especially the Shoe & Sal's brand made in Beaver Dam, WI.
Dairy
Our dairy selection is unique with a wide selection of dairy, soy, rice, goat, and alternative products. While we cannot sell raw milk due to WI state law, we offer several varieties of Cream Line milk that are non-homogenized. We also carry a large selection of yogurt and kefir. And we carry bulk organic free range organic eggs at the best price anywhere.
Breads
We carry several lines of great tasting organic breads--sandwich, artisan, sprouted, gluten-free, and other specialty breads. We sell Cybros, a local bread maker, specializing in rice bread, sprouted bread and muffins.
